TOS

1. Scope of Services

We provide professional notarial and mobile business services in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Specific services may vary and will be clearly outlined at the time of booking.

2. Fees & Payment

  • In accordance with §47.1-19 of the Code of Virginia, the maximum allowable fee is $10 per notarial act.

  • Additional charges may apply for travel, printing, waiting time, after-hours, or special handling, and will be disclosed in advance.

  • All fees are due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made.

Accepted Payment Methods:
Cash, Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, and Venmo.

3. Cancellations

We request 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules.

  • Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee (up to the full travel fee).

  • Missed appointments or refusal to sign will result in a nonrefundable travel/service fee.

4. Late Payment Policy

  • Invoices not paid by the due date will incur a $15 late fee.

  • Additional $15 fees will be added at 30, 60, and 90 days past due.

  • Accounts unpaid after 120 days may be referred for collection or legal action in Amherst County, VA.

5. Identification Requirements

All signers must present a valid, government-issued photo ID at the appointment. If identification is not provided, the notary may refuse to complete the act, and the travel fee may still apply.

6. Privacy & Confidentiality

All client information and documents are handled with strict confidentiality. Personal data will not be shared without your consent, except when required by law. We take reasonable measures to protect your information.

7. Delegation of Services

We may assign appointments to other qualified and vetted notaries when necessary. All delegated notaries operate under Virginia law and adhere to the same standards of professionalism and discretion.

8. Website & Data Use

We use third-party services to manage our website, appointment scheduling, payment processing, and website performance. By using our site or services, you acknowledge and accept that these providers may collect data as part of their normal operation.

Third-party platforms we currently use include:

  • Wix (website hosting and functionality)

  • Acuity Scheduling (appointment scheduling and confirmations)

  • Google Analytics & Google Ads (site performance and marketing)

  • PayPal and Venmo (payment processing)

Each service has its own privacy policy and data collection practices, which you may review directly on their respective websites. We do not sell or share your personal information. Your data is only used to support the delivery of our services.

9. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and all services provided are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes will be resolved within the court system of Amherst County, VA. By using our services, you consent to this jurisdiction.

10. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to update or revise these Terms of Service at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website or sent directly to clients when applicable.
